365 Days With a Clean Slate to Write Your Story….

New Year:Clean Slate
New Year:Clean Slate

Every New Year brings new resolutions, some you will keep, others you won’t, and some you will forget about completely. I stopped making resolutions a long time ago and just decided to do what is best for me and my family as we grow throughout the year. I try to remain flexible with a sense of humor along the way.

I am pressing “reset” for 2016, wiping my slate clean and only looking forward. I have been challenged, disappointed, learned a lot and grown from 2015 and will continue to be positive and professional in 2016.

I will live my life with intention and continue to always do my best in ALL that I do. My expectations are HIGH, my goals are realistic and my passion is on FIRE. 2016 WILL be a fabulous year and I look forward to continued personal and professional growth.

My hopes for this year(in no particular order):

– Go on more dates with my husband

– Continue to spend quality time with my girls both individually and together

– Spend more time with friends

– Remind myself that super-woman is just a fantasy and not strive to do it all!

– Keep up some sort of exercise routine, push myself at the gym but enjoy it! Learn to love my

body!

– Eat breakfast

– Eat more fruit and veggies

– Smile and laugh more

– Go to bed early (before 9pm) at least once a week

– Recharge my batteries once a month

– Walk away from my computer and phone more

– Read good books and watch funny movies

– Turn the music up, dance and sing loudly weekly

– Grow my business

– Keep my work space more organized

– Learn to “do nothing” and be OK with it

– Get out of my comfort zone and try new things (food, travel, public speaking)

Intentionality and moderation are my go to-s for 2016. I highly recommend focusing on one or two words, maybe for yourself, family or business and try it out. See if one word can make a difference for you and your family or business. Next, tell people about them, don’t hide them!  Ask people to hold you accountable and do the same for others. You can do it! Reach for the stars.

“When we focus our thoughts, energy and actions on one thing, there is a really good chance that we’ll actually do or become or accomplish what we are focusing on.”
